My dear friend and mentor has left us this year. To “Big Steve” we owe much. His gracious manner, wit, and industry expertise were well known in the global tradeshow community. Those of us fortunate enough to have worked for, played with, and traveled the world over with him (and often with Cindy as well) know a few things about a tall, slender, elegant man also noted as SJB: Profiteroles in Geneva; Steak in Barcelona; Red wine in Paris; and always a small bottle of refreshing Coca-cola to start his day. Obviously, he was a delight to travel with, but more so, he was a good man, an honest soul, who taught us that Plan B often becomes Plan A and never hurts to have a Plan C as a back-up. You are greatly missed and we raise our glasses in your honor as 2018 slips away.
