Per U.S. Embassy in Seoul website:

All travelers to Korea must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued within 72 hours of their departure and submit to a mandatory 14-day quarantine upon entry, regardless of vaccination status. Most tourists must quarantine in government facilities at their own expense. COVID-19 screening measures are subject to change with little advance notice. At this time, the ROK government has not changed its testing and quarantine requirements with regard to vaccinated travelers. General information is detailed below, but please consult the ROK COVID-19 Portal, Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) and the Embassy of the ROK in the USA for the most up-to-date information on special COVID regulations and immigration procedures before your travels.

Per the State Department’s travel advisory’s the U.S. Embassy in Australia has noted the following:

Australia has enacted a travel ban on all non-residents and non-Australian citizens entering Australia. Individuals may request exceptions to the entry restrictions at this link.

The Australian government requires all individuals traveling to or transiting through Australia, with limited exceptions, to provide evidence of a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test at time of check-in. The test must be taken 72 hours or less prior to departure. Additionally, masks are mandatory for passengers and crew on all international and domestic flights.

Effective January 26, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will require all air passengers two years of age and over entering the United States (including U.S. citizens and Legal Permanent Residents) to present a negative COVID-19 test, taken within three (3) calendar days of departure​, or proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days. Airlines must confirm the negative test result or proof of recent recovery for all passengers prior to boarding. ​Airlines must deny boarding of passengers who do not provide documentation of a negative test or recovery.

My dear friend and mentor has left us this year. To “Big Steve” we owe much. His gracious manner, wit, and industry expertise were well known in the global tradeshow community. Those of us fortunate enough to have worked for, played with, and traveled the world over with him (and often with Cindy as well) know a few things about a tall, slender, elegant man also noted as SJB: Profiteroles in Geneva; Steak in Barcelona; Red wine in Paris; and always a small bottle of refreshing Coca-cola to start his day. Obviously, he was a delight to travel with, but more so, he was a good man, an honest soul, who taught us that Plan B often becomes Plan A and never hurts to have a Plan C as a back-up. You are greatly missed and we raise our glasses in your honor as 2018 slips away.
